Almost two weeks ago, my friend Dorcus and I began journaling together for an hour each day. During this time, I found myself asking the same questions repeatedly: What do I need to change to see different results in my life? Who do I need to become? How should I think to create the change I desire?

While the answers didn't come immediately, a few things became clear. I realized that I need to be relentless in my pursuit of knowledge but also dedicated to producing content. It's important to balance being both a consumer and a creator. I also learned the value of being laser-focused on learning what is truly necessary and avoiding distractions or mediocrity.
One passage from Carrie Green's book, She Means Business: Turn Your Ideas into Reality and Become a Wildly Successful Entrepreneur, particularly resonated with me. On page 36, Carrie talks about becoming unstuck and shares her mission statement.
I've been trying to craft my own mission statement since I first read her book, but it wasn't until today that it finally emerged with clarity and purpose.
Here it is, written on August 24, 2024, in Kuala Lumpur:
I am ready; my adventure has begun. Over the next few months, I will take full responsibility for my life, embracing independence and becoming a doer. I will invest in myself and push beyond my comfort zone, committing to a mental transformation that unlocks untapped potential within my mind.
My goal is to respond to life differently, see the world differently, to move and present myself with a new energy, to express my voice with power and impact. I aim to cultivate inner wealth that manifests in my external reality, making wealth my new norm.
This journey is about making my life epic, meaningful, and successful. I aspire to be a trailblazer, walking among the movers and shakers of this world, and becoming one of them. I am becoming a magnet for wealth, health, and abundance, attracting like-minded individuals who are rich not just in money but in knowledge, experience, and light.
I am committed to building a life that excites me every morning—a life far removed from what I have known and who I have known so far, surrounded by a beautiful family and a tribe of smart, successful, talented, generous, and abundant souls. I seek those 'pinch me' moments, filled with incredible experiences that make life extraordinary.
I will document this journey on my blog as a reminder of where it all started and to stay true to my goals. I am ready. How about you? I hope this inspires you to create your own mission statement and take full responsibility for your life.
