Leaving My Comfort Zone...

Updated: Jun 3, 2023

“Do one thing every day that scares you.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

This year, my intention is to step radically out of my comfort zone and embrace life to the fullest. I refuse to let fear and other people's opinions limit me any longer. I believe that I am meant to live a grand and fulfilling life, and I am determined to bring all of my inner potential to fruition before I die. I know that anything is possible if I put my mind to it.

If you are on this journey, a good place to start could be by setting daily intentions, which is a powerful tool, for moving towards your goals. It is a way to focus your mind and energy on the actions and behaviors that will lead you towards your desired outcome.

To set daily intentions, start by identifying your goals and breaking them down into smaller, manageable tasks. Then, each day, choose one or two of these tasks as your daily intention. Make sure they are specific and actionable, such as "I will spend 30 minutes working on my project" or "I will reach out to one potential client".

It may involve scheduling time in your calendar, gathering the necessary resources, or reaching out to others for help. And, don't forget to evaluate your progress at the end of the day and make adjustments as needed.

It's also important to remind yourself of your daily intentions throughout the day by using visual cues, such as post-it notes or alarms, or by taking a few minutes to focus your mind on your goal at the start or end of the day. And, remember to be flexible, if things don't go as planned, don't beat yourself up, adjust and move forward.

Using visual cues, such as stickers around your house, can be a helpful reminder of your goals and keep them at the forefront of your mind. You can also use a planner or calendar to track your progress and celebrate small successes along the way. Additionally, you can surround yourself with supportive people who will encourage and motivate you in achieving your goals.

Words, such as "courage," "motivation," "strength," and "perseverance," can serve as a reminder of the qualities you need to develop to achieve your goals, they will serve as anchors to help you stay inspired and goal-focused. Music that inspires you, such as uplifting or empowering songs, can help to set the tone for the day and boost your mood and energy. Pictures of the people, places, or things that you want to manifest in your life can be a powerful reminder of what you're working towards.

These anchors can help you stay focused on your goals and serve as a reminder that the life you want is possible if you are willing to make changes by incorporating them into your daily routine, either as soon as you wake up or before you go to bed.

There are so many fears that keep us from trying, but remembering that you & I are able to do something now to live the life we want to live, is a powerful motivation.

Yours truly,

The Queen Of Africa
