"Stories are not always innocent; they can be used to put you in the wrong crowd, in the party of the man who has come to dispossess you.” ― Chinua Achebe

Western concepts and narratives have dominated nearly all of the world's important discussions for a very long time, because almost all the content we consumed back then be it in the newspapers, on the radio and on television, was created and analyzed from white men' point of view. However, with the advent of social medias, we have seen opportunities opening up for those who were previously invisible on the world stage. There is still much to be done in that sense but it is imperative to make sure that the subsequent African generations receive their information from diverse sources and from African voices conveying genuine African experiences. I am sharing here some of my favorite Black owned podcasts that I listen to with the goal that you will give them a shot and choose the one that most appeals to you.

It is crucial as a community that we support one another endeavor regardless where we live, and which language we speak and what religion we practice. Only when we are united will we be able to forge a solid community and build a table where we can welcome others to sit and engage in dialogue on an equal footing.
Yours Truly,
The Queen Of Africa
