In my boxing career, I’m known for being a powerful puncher. I’ve secured 90% of my victories by knockout, with many of them happening in less than two minutes.
However, there was a time I lost a championship because I spent the entire match waiting for the perfect moment to land my knockout punch. That perfect moment never came, and by the end of the fight, I hadn't used all my ammunition. My opponent, whose strategy was to accumulate small points without causing much damage, emerged victorious. From this experience, I learned a valuable life lesson: never wait for the perfect opportunity.

Life is full of opportunities, but they’re not all the same. Some are golden, others are silver, or bronze. Some are dazzling, while others may seem insignificant. Regardless, they are all opportunities, each a small step toward your ultimate success.
Your success is built step by step, brick by brick. Whatever dream you’re chasing, don’t wait for circumstances to align perfectly.
If you wait for the perfect moment, the perfect situation, the perfect funding, or the perfect conditions to start your project, you’ve already failed. Even if you can’t quit your job right now, work seriously on your project in your spare time. You can pursue it part-time with the necessary dedication. If you don’t have an office, work from home, use your car as an office or shop—just start with what you have. Don’t waste time waiting for the perfect moment because it won’t come unless you take action.
Don’t wait for a promotion to start a family if your love is true. Even if you live in a small studio, if your hearts are in sync, go for it.
Don’t wait for substantial funding to start your business. You might end up waiting too long and miss a valuable opportunity.
Today, things move very quickly. If you have an idea, start with what you have. Even if it’s not perfect, at least you’ll be known in the market. Improvements can be made gradually in the heat of action. Otherwise, someone else might seize the opportunity of exclusivity or the best spot.
If you plan to go back to school after having a child, don’t tell yourself, “I’ll wait until the child is older to return to school.” By then, they’ll be old enough for you to get pregnant again, and your project will be postponed once more. Find a way to study and take care of your child simultaneously. It’s challenging, but you can do it. Draw inspiration from those who have done it before you.
Don’t procrastinate on what you can do now. The present is one of the greatest assets we have, invest your time instead of spending it.
