"If you are waiting for someone to create magic into your life, you will wait till the day you die." - Kerry Washington

Your life was given to you, not to someone else, just as your aspirations and desires were given to you, not to someone else. Every day when you wake up, you are given another opportunity to use this gift, this potent force known as life, to do something amazing. So what are you going to do right now to move the needle of your life in the direction of your dreams? There is always something as small as it is to incorporate into your lifestyle that will make a difference in the long run.
If you have read my previous posts, you know by now that I believe in the power of mindset because everything starts in the mind and if we do not change the way we see and approach things, nothing will change in our lives. You can trust me on this, because mindset makes everything work. Nothing is anybody else's fault but our own; accept responsibility for your life; take the steering wheel from whoever hand you left it with and start driving.
Being the person holding the driving wheel of your life means that you take control of your own destiny and make conscious, deliberate choices about the direction of your life. It means being assertive and making decisions that align with your values and goals, rather than allowing external circumstances or other people's opinions to dictate the course of your life.
When you are in the driver's seat, you are in charge of the journey and you can make the necessary adjustments to reach your destination. It means being proactive and taking the initiative to make things happen, rather than passively letting life happen to you. It also means being responsible for your actions and taking ownership of your choices, rather than blaming others or external factors.
To truly be in the driver's seat of your life, you need to be self-aware and understand your values, strengths, and weaknesses. You need to have a clear vision of where you want to go and a plan of action to get there. And you must be resilient and persistent in the face of obstacles and challenges.
It's important to remember that being in the driver's seat of your life doesn't mean you can control everything, but you can take control of your own actions, thoughts and emotions.
You have the power to make choices, make changes and steer your life in the direction that you want it to go.
Truly yours,
The Queen of Africa
